what did they use for a I.D. number on 1937 chevys? I bought a project several years ago that had a vin" number on the title that I couldn't find anywhere. the only number I have found is a body number on a plate on the firewall. Can anybody help? thanks, Tony

The new crate engine sold Friday for 41k, I arrived on Saturday and got some great photos of a second 675+ hp SOHO engine nestled in a 65 Fairlane that brought $58k. hi i just bought a 350 motor and i want to know some about it...... it is a 4 bolt mains motor because i checked... heres the #'s back flange behind head drivers side cast # 3970010 and 41 GM ...... bck passenger side same location..# L18 8..... front flange in front of head passenger side # V1299800 and the # i found under the valve cover cast into heads...

I just purchased and put on a disc brake conversion for a 1968-1972 GM A body car. My car is an 1971 Buick GS with the 350 Stage 1. I purchase the kit off of ebay from waterloo tire company out of Iowa. Of course it came with no instructions. I put on the parts myself and could not get it to work.
