My wife and I are looking at making our first visit to Sri Lanka this July. We will have 9 days in-country and she is keen to keep our travel to a minimum only staying at 2 or 3 different places (she wants a holiday not just to travel). I would like some of that time to be at the beach but am not sure with the monsoon if this would be worthwhile on the south/west...
