I have been following F1 since the early seventies, watched them since '81 and followed Practice and Qually since '96. Testing since '99. But at the start of a season I always have had a clue as to "the team" with the edge. This year I have no bloody idea even after P1 & P2. If Virgin win I'll be only slightly surprised Sauber/Williams/ ForceI ... no surprise....

The whole area around the Bahrain track looks like an unfinished construction site. And does anyone like the new part of the track layout?

Does it have to use the IPhone data connection or can I use the IPhone Wifi to my home Internet and save on data costs that way.

An aerodynamic concept by Mclaren to stall the wing on the straights is passed because it is triggered by the Driver's manual operation and not automated action. Classic. Renault's managing director Bob Bell - "It is fundamentally clear the McLaren wing design is totally illegal," complained Bell. "They have driven a cart horse through the spirit of the...

Nico Rosberg said on RTL that Schumacher is finding it difficult to adapt driving with the standard ECU. No traction control, another hole in the past that he regularly circumvented. Today was the first time since the Spanish GP, the 5th race of the 1993 season that Schumacher has driven an F1 car without traction control.

BUT the 14th may only be a reserve. http :// www .autosport, com /news/report.php/id/82045 Todt - "...We will open the 13th position and we will probably make the  14th position reserve, as well, available and it is a process that will  start in the coming days..." Spend £millions to sit on the sidelines - I very much doubt it. I wonder if...

Just a reminder (and becuase I find it quite useful) The BBC have a standard ics format calendar download available from their site, which you can add to Outlook, Google or iCal. Option to choose races only or all practice and qually sessions too. http :// news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula one/8562692.stm

Can anyone actually log in to the live timing of formula1,com website, it doesn't seem to be letting me in with any address I have on the system, and won't send a password reminder either (although I'm sure I have not forgotten the password). Every bloody season they change the website and break things. They have months to code and test, and they can't...
