Of all the copy shops in all of England, Trudy Coughlan had the rotten luck of walking into Document Image Processing. It was June 2007 in sleepy Surrey County, and Coughlan, a statuesque blonde, sauntered through the door of the shop holding a sheaf of 780 pages. Scan them onto two CDs, she told the clerk, a forgettable middle-aged guy in a forgettable...

Here's an idea: My son's house in Nevada has electronically programmed nozzles which emerge from the ground and spray his garden (yard) with water. Why doesn't Bernie insist that all circuits have them installed? They could be triggered on the command of Charlie Whiting or pre-programmed electronically to come on occasionally during a race. Of course at...

A report on the most boring race of the calendar, according to some people round here. Well not from where I was sitting. Ferrari: Highly impressive in qualifying, but it was a tale of two drivers in the race. On a day when almost everyone made a mistake, Massa's was relatively minor and not too costly. He delivered one of the day's better drives,...

Kimi told that he was sorry for ruining Sutil's and Force India's race. Kovalainen could not change gears from neutral so the team had to turn the engine off, the problem vanished after that. Kovi told that his speed was very encouraging when he had the chance to drive on a clear track. Rosberg crashed so hard that he had to go for a routine check at...

1. remove the SC car all together 2. Every driver must have pit limiter on during the "SC car period" at all times. 3. pre-accident gaps = post-accident gaps within a pre-determined bandwith of let's say 1 seconds, else stop-and-go penalty for the driver that's driving too fast. 4. When track is given as cleared, pit limiters are allowed to be disabled This...

I think it won the race for him. The crash (which lead to a pit-stop and refueling) along with the first Safety-Car period put Lewis at a serious advantage imo.

For Monaco street circuit only, when race conditions are wet, drivers should switch to appropriately-engineered backup cars: http :// www .big-geo,com /USERIMAGES/lastscan.jpg http :// www .oldstox, com /images/515%20Frankie%20Wainman%20Jnr%20April%202008.jpg

So, after all the speculation about how much fuel Massa, Kimi and Lewis had for qually, is it possible to work out what they actually had? AC

Robert Kubica was the only one of the top drivers who did not commit any mistakes in Monaco. If only he had a better car...

Bastard. I'm still actually shaking with rage. If there are excuses / reasons, I'm not interested. Don't even begin to want to hear it. Poor Sutil, poor Force India. In theory I should be all excited by Hamilton's win, the lead in the championship, the exciting race, and many other individual results. But I'm not. AC

I was fully expecting a procession, what a pleasant surprise. What a damn shame for Sutil, one of the few drivers who drove a perfect race.
