Woo hoo! By 'eck I enjoyed that. Fantastic race - sorry all the fans got wet, but I bet they think it was worth it. ;o) Brilliant drive by Lewis - some brave decisions by the team. Great win, a real classic. And how lovely to see Rubens on the podium and hear what a great reaction he got from the crowd. A genuinely popular guy. Poor old Mark Webber...

Okay, I don't know about the guys taking part, but *I* learned something today. Did you know ITV's live watching online has a 2hr cut off?? Yep... tuned in just as the coverage started... ... display died just as qualifying was about to finish. By the time I got it all back again and saw the final result, I thought I'd tuned into the wrong race!...

Included below is an article from Autosport.com that very precisely quotes Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. discussing Mark Martin's signing by Hendrick Motorsports to replace Casey Mears next season. I've been catching up with some old Top Gear episodes on the BBC's web site, and this weekend caught the one where The Stig did a lap in the "reasonably priced car". No idea how this compares to Top Gear as I haven't seen the later, but I've been missing this show ever since SPEED dropped it. There are 6 episodes scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 0:00 Monday. BTW I don't know if it's Brian I'm to thank, but thanks for letting me in guys. Much appreciated.
