Hmm, has my brain faded and this already posted? Joie Chitwood says there's an 80% chance of a 2009 USGP. This might be the case, Bernie might be using it to pull even more money from another venue or Joie may be using the same stuff as Tony.

I usually post this at about this time of year, although I'm finding that it's all available on dozens of websites anyway. I suppose if I cut 'n paste it into one post it might save some of you the effort. Or not. Data mostly from FORiX, but also the F1 Yearbook 2007-08, and various other websites. # plus half an inch (which is very important) Ordered...

Hello, can anyone offer insights/opinions on whether general admission tickets to the Canadian GP allow for decent viewing? Any preferred areas of the park or sections of the track? Thanks for the info. Denis

Does anyone know if the F1 is going to be on the ITV streaming service, either live or "tape delayed"? I noticed the preview show didn't seem to be on the catch up service. -- Stephen M Baines * w w w .alledal.nu * w w w .alledal.se

I think there will this year be a bigger difference between No. 1 and No. 2 drivers of the top teams: Kimi will dominate from the beginning now that he has gained confidence. Massa may struggle without traction control and has probably lost the "equal status" he has had last season. Unless he pulls a rabbit from the hat very early in the season Lewis...

Before the bulldust stops and the flag drops. So who will be hot? Let us know your thoughts, dreams and hopes. Mine? Ferrari obviously, McLaren probably as they've been getting stronger and stronger however the team to watch will be Williams. They won't catch Ferrari/McLaren, the gap was too big but they will give 'em a scare on occasion. Who comes next?...

I posted this in the other place, but neglected to do so here. The subject is the title of a new book written by the Guardian's long- time F1 correspondent, Alan Henry. He's also well known as the editor of Autocourse and has authored over fifty racing books.
