Have you noticed the similarities between Williams and McLaren on the driver front? Williams let go the considerable experience of Alex Wurz and McLaren that of Fernando Alonso. Despite obviously very quick cars they are both experiencing problems, McLaren less so ... probably because of Pedro de la Rosa. Also note that the Scarlet has utilised the experience...

I posted these comparisons throughout the 2006 & 2007 seasons to illustrate changes in top speeds as measured through the speed traps. In previous years I restricted the comparison to speeds recorded during the three segments of qualifying, since the best laps are usually recorded in those sessions.
