Reposted from a previous thread: Section 10-4 of the NA$CAR Rule Book states: Cars may not pass the caution vehicle unless told to do so by a NA$CAR official. Any vehicles passing the caution vehicle or race leader will be black flagged. Why is the rule on the books if it is never enforced?

Was Junior ahead of the pace car at the S/F line? If not, then he didn't technically pass it, since all passes are scored at the S/F line, correct? (I know this may be bludgeoning the deceased equine, but the race was so boring, this is all we have to discuss right now.)

NASCAR has only seen the first of probably a few more racial lawsuits to follow when the dust has settled on the current lawsuit pending by the black female official. It is the snowball effect and it will happen once this lawsuit has settled for the millions being pursued. Both white and blacks of the sport will come forward with their details. The...

Both are Just about the same, maybe NASCAR has just a little more credibility. This sport of racing, in today's time, has every bit of calculated or pre-arranged written on it. It is hard not to think that some situations are not setup before each race. Drivers who likely are provided a restrictor plate larger holes before Daytona, MWR spinning at just...

The best movie ever is called Blast From The Past. She tries to help him find a girl until she realizes that she is the girl.

I found this article on a bulletin board and decided to try it. It said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and address listed below; then you place your own name and address in the bottom of the list at #6, and post the article in at least 200 newsgroups. I figured "What have I got to lose? 6 stamps and $6.00?" I was amazed that within 7 days,...

Clinton Bundler on Obama's Doyle Pick: The Biggest 'Fuck You' Ever by Jason Horowitz | June 16, 2008 | A former bundler to Hillary Clinton just called in to tell me that Barack Obama's selection of Patti Solis Doyle as chief of staff to the campaign's eventual vice presidential nominee is the "biggest fuck you I have ever seen in politics." The donor,...

Yeah, Jr is the *only one* that has ever done it. I was at this race and DJ pulled ahead of the pace car by at least 3 cars lengths in turns 1 and 2 on the last lap. (1999 Pepsi 400 - Daytona) ............................................................................................................................... The Pass UPDATE 2: Getting much...

From jayski's: Some drivers upset with Dale Jr. passing pace car: Several drivers were upset that #88-Dale Earnhardt Jr. was allowed to speed up and pass the pace car during a caution so he could save gas to make it to the finish line. The running start gave Earnhardt enough momentum to allow him to turn his engine off and coast halfway around Michigan International...

http :// www .sirius, com /nascar Scroll down to "John Darby - What's the rule on passing the pace car?" He also mentions, bumping the pace car, which is also "against the rules" as I've mentioned several times since yesterday. Never seen anyone penalized for that either. It's trivial, people, trivial!

If I was out there racing, screw the pace car. I going on around him so I can get a head start on my pit stop. Why bother following Brett Bodine in the pace car when it's "ok" to pass him. -- -------------------- http :// NewsReader, com / -------------------- Usenet Newsgroup Service $9.95/Month 30GB

As expected the Junior revisionists are out of full force after he cheated for the win on Sunday. The rule is you can't pass the pace car. Junior passed the pace car and was not penalized. Those are the facts. If it is okay to pass the pace car then why is there a rule you can't pass the pace car? Or is there such a rule? Several drivers, Junior excluded...
