Of course "think" is not something that you would normally associate with my screen name. But here goes anyhow. I think that either Senator Obama or Senator McCain should man up and say that if they are elected they will put Africa on the front burner. I ain't got nothing against Africa and I ain't got nothing against African people. But they...

Montoya says: "He just went wide (in turn 2) like I wasn't even there," said Montoya, who was relegated to 32nd place. "I got beside him into the next corner and he starts banging on me, like he was trying to wreck me. "I said, 'OK.' I went into the corner and (the caution flag came out for Bowyer and Hornish), and I slowed down and tried to say, 'What...

Was listening to Jr's radio on the TNT broadcast. It seems that Jr. made a last minute decision to pit, beacause he radioed "OK, I'm coming in!" right before he headed to pit lane. Was there some sort of problem with Jr.'s car? And why would he pit with about 30 laps to go when no one else was pitting? McMurray said that he had no idea Jr was pitting,...

The singer's skill wasn't bad, but he was way too fond of his own voice. At the second note of the anthem, I knew he would way overplay it and sing it too slowly. And someone tell these people to quit with the "how long can I sing one note" "free" at the end... . it 's annoying, and just plain wrong. Did anyone else notice during the anthem camera shots,...

Where are all of the Hollywood celebrities holding telethons asking for help in restoring Iowa and helping the folks affected by the floods? Where is all the media asking the tough questions about why the federal government hasn't solved the problem? Asking where the FEMA trucks (and trailers) are? Why isn't the Federal Government relocating Iowa...

Three or four seasons ago the old regulars drug up and went to have some secret Yahoo group or something like that. I cannot remember the names because it has been a long time but some of you may know who I mean.

I only chalk today's results to a fluke occurrence where drivers who would have finished last are nothing but lucky to have finished where they did today. Not even Mike Helton could have screwed this race up as bad as the weather did. This was the only exciting thing about this race. Daytona next week should be a good weekend for speed.
