Absolutely no talk about him getting a another cup ride. But I think he deserves one, his time with Haas was a mess from the start, and when you look back, he ran as well or better than any of the other drivers (JGreen, Waaaaad, Sadler, Riggs, and I think Vickers for a couple races). He's doing better in Nationwide than a lot of the other drivers looking...

There is gonna be some changes goin' on in Sprint Cup right quick. There were only 45 qualifiers for the Coke Zero and that is one of the biggest money races there is. Sponsors are gonna get real hard to come by. Companies that make and sell stuff know that when things get tough people tighten their spending some and buy what they feel they absolutely...

he's patriotic. The second he heard JGR was switching to Toys, he started looking. Someone need to state the truth about this. Why would Toyota want to race in a series that runs 8-cyl stock cars when Toyota doesn't have an 8-cyl stock car? Their customers wouldn't even look at an 8-cyl Camry. It would leave too much of a carbon footprint.

I know this is released sometime in the summer... I'm trying to make plans for Sonoma next year if my grandfather's timeshare is available during the race week. Right now I have July 4th week reserved for Daytona, which is easy because it's always the 4th or the Saturday after the 4th. So at any rate, when do they normally release a schedule with hard dates?...

I guess it is official now JGR will release TS from contract that runs through 09. TS expected to buy Haas CNC, gut the organization, bring on own people. Ryan Newman expected to announce move to HAAS team in press conference set prior to or weekend of Brickyard 400. This is good news and the dominos just keep falling. The DEI story will continue...

Both the crew chief, Kevin Manion, and the car chief, Gary Putnam, have been suspended from the next six NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events, suspended from NASCAR until Aug. 27 and placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31. And Manion fined $100.000. http :// jayski, com /cupnews.htm

so basically i posted a comment on a site that does the run down of silly season, and it turned out to be quite long and surprising here it is: tell me what you think, nearly all of this info is coming from jayski 1. it's confirmed smoke will announce at Indy he's at least going to be an owner of Haas (he may not be racing there next year, but will be part...

Not that I am very surprised about that. Chevrolet is determined to bring the Volt electric car to market by 2010. So far, so good. But when you look at the details you see that they are needlessly weighing the car down with a 1.0 liter turbocharged engine, a generator, and 12 gallons of fuel capacity. No wonder it is going to cost over $ 40,000 which...

From http :// jayski, com /cupnews.htm UPDATE: Max Siegel, President of Global Operations at DEI is currently in negotiations with major investors to buy Teresa Earnhardt out of DEI, a source close to the negotiations said Monday. It appears now that Teresa is finally willing to sell, and Siegel is working diligently with a number of potential investors...
