Friday's NNS was a real yawner. It was so bad that I stopped watching it long before the end. Nascar has several problems in my opinion. First of all, the race was at Chicagoland. Chicago, California, Kansas, Phoenix and Vegas are all terrible tracks in my opinion, and always host most of Nascar's most boring races, regardless of whether they are NNS or...

More NASCAR Bullshit, pulling 9 engines from 9 Toyotas tonight to Dyno in Charlotte. Once they find out what Toyota is doing, they will make them stop so the field can be leveled. NASCAR will likely consider Toyota to have an unfair advantage. I think the unfair advantage, sometimes is NASCAR and Frantz themselves.

Back in 1979 during a gas shortage, flipped on the tube and saw these racing cars going round and round and round the oval track. So I sent a note to Budweiser expressing outrage that they'd sponsor such fuel-wasting nonsense while the rest of the country had to endure long gas lines. They replied with nastiness, stating that auto racing is a like a laboratory...

Earnhardt Jr. not interested in buying father's racing team David Newton, ESPN,com JOLIET, Ill. -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. wanted at least 51 percent of Dale Earnhardt Inc. last season before he opted for a fresh start at Hendrick Motorsports. If the company were up for sale now? "I don't mean this in a bad way, but I would not have any interest in purchasing...

I guess you sometimes have to wonder how Jr. maintains concentration and focus on his work when all the news/rumor surrounding DEI is floating around everywhere, Internet and other avenues. I wonder if he has people who interact with him to keep him set straight, not saying psychologist, just someone who he can confide in?

During the afternoon practice, Speed Chanel listened in to Kurt Busch and the #2. Naturally, when that happened, Kurt was evidently in the process of explaining to crew how the car was handling, "... handling like shit ..." My question is this, will NASCAR now approach Kurt for language or will the Speed Chanel people finaly understand that a ten second...

I think this is such a bad move for him. With the difficulties he has being a driver, in the media for one reason and then another, I don't think he can also handle the added responsibility and criticism that comes with being an owner. I hate to say it but he will probably never win another championship. :( ___ DISCUSS THIS TOPIC AT... - http :// sports.groups.yahoo,com /group/NASCAR-Group...
