I have never really dedicated much time to learning how to spray paint cars. Maybe now is the time. I am more or less retired and need another hobby to keep me off the streets. How much money do I really have to spend to get a spray gun capable of doing really decent work, and any recommendations for such a gun?

I'd like to know if there is any particular brand of after-market gauges that are a good value. I don't want the most expensive, but I also don't mind paying for a decent quality package. I definitely want to avoid cheap instruments. I'd like water temp, transmission temp, voltmeter. It will be for a 1990 Jeep Cherokee (w/automatic trans., 4.0L in-line 6...

Hi, I just bought a new set of jumper cables, and on the box they go thru a real detailed how-to on what to hook up first, then connect to..., etc. I'm sure there is a good reason for the sequence, but I cannot see where it matters, as long as you don't short anything. Can anyone please explain for me the reason for the "exact" sequencing, that always...

am thinking of selling my gas guzzling ford f-150 (13 mpg) and buying a diesel guzzling Ford Van E-350.....and collecting waste veg oil to use for fuel....there seems to be two options.. 1 The Greasecar option - install separate tank, heater, hoses, for veg oil ......I am not mechanic, so could cost 1500 to 2000 dollars. 2 The Diesel Energy Secret...

Once again - 1992 Ford F150 5.0L 302 V8 175k miles, auto. A mechanic determined there's a blown head gasket. Following behind the truck, you could see "steam" coming out the exhaust and the truck ran roughly. Upon disassembly of the manifold and heads, we see: * the inside of valve covers are coated in brown goop, which is obviously water mixed with...

2003 Toyota Camry SE 4 cylinder. Mileage: 70,000. Just recently noticed wind noise coming in from the sun roof. When I push up on the back part (closest to the back seat) of the sun roof, the noise decreases. Any suggestions on what the problem is and how to resolve it? Thanks.

I have a 01 VW cabrio and recently the battery has become stone dead a few times. After I recharged it I disconnected the Neg. and put a test light inline between the post and the neg cable and the light lights up. Would the security led and clock timer use enough juice to light up the testlight? I have an electrical test meter, can I use it to test how...
