We have a strange problem with one of the Ice Cream Trucks. The truck has had issues over the last few weeks with BACKFIRING. All sorts of causes/solutions have been tried. The latest one, and one that SEEMS to have corrected the problem is somehow, when we put gas in the tank.... it would cause the carbuerator to overfill... actually what we saw was...

Is it true that when you use Air Conditioning you get poor gas mileage? I was told this recently. It is the first time I have a vehicle that has Air Conditioning a 2006 3.3L Dodge Caravan. I have a 92 Chevy Lumina APV van with the 3400 thats is giving me trouble. The van died on me out of town, and the shop I found, as part of their diagnostics, replaced the crankshaft sensor. Will it harm anything if I remove the therrmostat for the duration of the summer? My goal is to make the engine run cooler to extend the engine life. This is in reference to a 1994 Chevrolet Corsica with a 6 cylinder engine with 168,000 miles. The gasket is an o-ring that is part of the thermostat, so I will make my own gasket to fit around the thermostat...
