Some people in San Diego are crossing the border into Mexico to fill up on Mexican gas.(Diesel fuel too) Isn't that Mexican gas a lower quality of gas than the gas which is sold in America? Would there be any long term harmful effects of useing that Mexican gas in American vehicles? cuhulin

'87 Ford Ranger sold to me by a friend a bit ago, and he commented that the temp gauge only barely moved into the 'normal range' and as I observed it over the next few months, 'barely' was an accurate term.Now, local temps are in the 110 range. The gauge is moving just a TAD more into normal and I'm having to add coolant almost every day. Can anyone suggest...

Any opinions on a Curt trailer hitch, as opposed to Cequent (Reese/Draw-Tite/Hidden Hitch)? JCW has a Curt hitch for my truck for $120 including a ball mount. Purchased a transmission filter kit for my 2006 Dodge caravan 3.3L from NAPA. Kit has , filter, O ring and rubber transmission pan gasket. This will be first filter and fluid change on vehicle. As I understand it, as the vehicle now stands the transmission pan gasket does not have a rubber gasket but Mopar ATF RTV MS-GF41 ( silicon? ) Will I have any...

Oh my gosh, rotating tires is an awfully dirty job. It's much dirtier than changing oil. All I did was remove one wheel cover/"hubcap" with a screwdriver, and got really dirty. Wheels don't like being clean, I suppose. (I removed the wheel cover just to be sure of the socket size needed for tomorrow's rotation and torquing.) Went to Sears to buy...
