I have just returned home from a delightful trip to Amish country in Lancaster PA. While there I filled up on wonderful Amish/Pennsylvania Dutch food. I don't keep spices on hand because I do very little cooking. I would like to try lasagna. I have never seen a spice pack in the grocery store for lasagna like I have seen for chili and pot roast. Does one exist?

Is there such a thing as a yeast pasta, noodles, or ravioli, which undergoes a rising? I've never heard of such a thing. The closest thing I can think of is breadsticks, but I have difficulty imagining eating a bowl of boiled breadsticks in tomato sauce or pesto. It would make for a thicker ravioli, but lighter.
