Hi, Does anyone have a current e-mail address for the Map Room in Chicago please? I visited there recently and met the owners, and I'd like to drop them a line. Thanks, Lee Derby UK.

Does anyone know: (a) if Molson XXX is still being produced, and if so, (b) can it be purchased online, or know of any stores in the Los Angeles area that sells it?

A couple weeks ago, I was out at the bar and the owners son passed out cigars. We had several smoking them. I still have mine, since I was using a cigarette. We still have some smoking here in these parts. I really hate drinking without smoking. A couple bars I go to have at least 80-90% smoking rate. Well, I just thought it a shame to prohibit smoking when...

This is an interesting ale, it has many of the characteristics of a porter in terms of taste and color. I tried it because this brewery makes some things I like, and while this was a surprise, it was no exception. This week, we're tasting an organic Extra Special Bitter (ESB), the sixth beer in our exploration of Lakefront Brewery's variety eight- pack from Milwaukee, WI. The ESB style hails from England. It's essentially more aggressive and balanced than the standard bitters (somewhat hoppy light ales) of the UK, both in alcohol and hop character, but it's not...

This week, we run to nearly the opposite end of the lager spectrum, for the fifth beer in our exploration of Lakefront Brewery's variety eight-pack. Eastside Dark is a Munich-style Dunkel Lager that's brewed with three different specialty malts-chocolate, black patent...
