Anyone know how to get the bean grinding container -- the bit with the blade -- to come loose for cleaning? Once in a while it will just lift out, but more usually no matter how I fiddle & turn & push or pull, it stays put. (I have the machine but not the instruction booklet.) Seems very quiet here. Coffee must be out of fashion? I have an espresso/cappuccino machine. It makes a decent espresso, but its cappuccino has never been much good. Lately it's got worse, the nozzle blows steam vigorously; the milk heats up but remains basically flat. It would be great to learn the basic principles of how pressurised steam froths...

hi, I know some coffee lovers who would be thrilled with that gift! Especially if there’s something a little bit special about the beans (organic / imported / exotic in some other way… but not flavoured if they’re coffee snobs).gourmet food gift basket can be a real treat to someone who loves to eat, For this reason a food gift basket is at the top of...

I just saw a pop-corn popper that would serve as a coffee roaster, except that it holds five liters. Roasting more than a pint or so of coffee at a time seems to me counterproductive. Is there a practical device of this kind available for coffee lovers? If there is not an attractive electric one, can one still find the little stove-top covered pans...

I got a Bodum burr grinder a couple of years ago, expecting it to be quieter than the small "blender" type of grinder. Boy! Was I wrong about that? Is there any brand/model of burr grinder that is not only a good grinder, but is QUIET?? Thanks for your kind attention, Alan Moorman

Hi Guys, Can anyone recommend a good espresso machine for around £150. I have a cheaper 15 Bar Krups one (£70 or so) which is OK for the so called "suitable for all machines" grind but it really struggles if I use a proper fine espresso grind. Many thanks in advance. Charles Turner

does anyone have any experience of these machines ? * w w w .armorica.co.uk/dyn/prod_image1902.jpg I've been given one which won't start up, blank display. the manual says check the power supply, fuse etc and I've done that. I've also checked the internal fuse and it's ok. obviously, I'd like to get it going again but before I get someone in or...

Do you know of a French press with a capacity larger than 1.5 liters... preferably an insulated model like the Bodum Columbia?

well codeine is effective but not as much as you would think. alchol unbelievably worked great. Doctors say that hormones will only prevent new hemmorhagic cysts, will have no effect on present ones. I waited and was patient. I muddled through it, for five years. And then finally it aall busted. But I think it was because of a huge hormone...
