For years I have enjoyed raisins in my oatmeal. Lately it's occurred to me that it might not be a great idea to be eating all those raisins (I have chronic iron overload), and I'm wondering what sorts of low- iron fruit I could be eating in my cereal. Any suggestions?

Note: Reyers doesn't cater to vegans, they just have a big selection. They may be able to help you over the phone if you use the key phrase 100% man-made. Simple black (or...

Anybody got a used copy of Doug Graham's book 80/10/10 Diet to donate? Less "fake meat" in it, more tomatoeyness. But the bechemal sauce is still good, so it comes...

Eating Fish I received this letter from a notmilk reader this week: "Dear Notmilkman, I am a vegetarian who occasionally eats seafood. Is there really anything wrong with eating wild fish?" Yesterday (October 2, 2007), Utah's Salt Lake Tribune reported: "State issues new fish advisory for Utah Lake By Tom Wharton" It seems that Utah's Department...
