I am on the verge of purchasing a 2010 Honda CR-V, but the 6-CD changer is only offered with the next higher trim level, which costs $2300 more. No way. In my old car, a Volvo V40, I had a lovely Alpine changer which could be wired to be controlled by the stock Volvo radio/cassette player. Is there any way to wire an Alpine changer into the stock Honda...

89 Sho. Didn't have no choices of options just came loaded. Question I saw Crutchfield have one that you can unplug your 6 disc changer and use that output to a mp3 player as long as you have the Mach. So why would I want a changer and screw with disc when I have 2000 songs at anytime and run the cord way back up to the front seat to the player itself. a-is...

Hi I can't comment on the Alpine TAPE deck tuners ability, because I live up on the mid-north of Vancouver island in Canada where the radio station CHOICE and reception is Shit at the best of times. Frigging 70's AM music (on FM) for the dinosaur band lovers, PLUS the fact the we have CANADIAN Content laws. Puke!!! Rob

-- You could install-it-yourself if you work around car before. The theory is simple! You waste lots of energies through brake frictions that can't be avoided in order to brake effectively. Now there is a device that allows you to avoid those frictions, this device adds a strong friction back when you need to brake, when you don't need to...

I've tried connecting ground wires to the body from the antenna shield near the radio, or the metal cap/nut that tightens the antenna into the body, with no affect. I still get real obnoxious hum whenever I am near powerlines. Has anyone here had and solved this problem? The radio is a Pioneer "supertuner" AM/FM/CD unit.

I have some Blaupundt Tucson car radios, and I've always had problems with their cassette mechanisms. I'd like to learn how to clean them and figure out the mechanical problems. The first step is a power setup on my workbench. I don't have a power supply, but I do have some old computer power supplies which have 12v+, 12v- outputs (and others). Would...

http :// www .alpine, com .au/membership/index.asp Hi John I tried all my old links including www .alpine, com .au and there aren`t any manuals for that model anymore. You should sign up http :// www .alpine, com .au/membership/index.asp and see if any other models are similar, 1996 vintage kit. I do know lots about alpine amps of that era, and have docs on...

I'm looking for a new single DIN DVD HU up to the $700.00 range. I've got my eye on the Pioneer AVH-P5100DVD or the Clarion VZ709. Anyone have any experience with these units or have any recommendations? Are there any newer units coming that I should wait for? Also I use my IPOD a lot so those capabilities are important. TIA
