So I have the rear speakers in parallel with the sub amp inputs. All works fine when the ignition is turned on, but when the motor is started one of two things happens. 1) The volume...

I just got a 1995 Jeep that has a pretty decent sound system in it (from what I understand - I don't actually know anything about audio stuff). It's all Alpine equipment. Except the head unit had recently been stolen, and had been replaced with some cheapy. I would like to replace the head unit with one that will integrate with my iPhone. By integrate...

Hey gang. My beloved ESX Q1204 needs replacing as I am needing my trunk space back and want to move to a smaller, simpler system design. Plan is for an 8" SQ in a sealed box under one front seat and a four channel amp under the other. Would like to have as much power (clean, for SQ) as possible out of a minimum size. I know it doesn't really...

Anyone ever use CDT's EF-8 series? Just picked up a pair to run off the rear channels of an ESX Q120. Am replacing an IDQ8 with the pair now. I've got an a/d/s RS10 that I was running for a while so I'll be curious to see how these two 8's do in sq and bass output vs. the single 10. Am planning on running each in a seperate sealed enclosure. ...

I've got a 2003 Camry SE, with the stock Radio/CD player, 6 speakers. A couple weeks ago we had some unusually warm weather for January (I'm in the chicago area.) For a couple days it got up as high as 50 degrees, and very humid. At that time, my radio appeared to go south. The sound was full of static and distortion. Adjusting the balance setting, I discovered...

Car: Ford Taurus, 1996, with high-end audio system including CD changer in trunk and JBL speakers in doors. Controls of radio and CD are integrated with controls of air conditioner in a single panel. CD changer has been inoperative for years... some kind of mechanical jam. What is my upgrade path, if any? Most needed is an input for an MP3 play...

I recently started selling flip down lcd tvs on my site. I have never really seen the need for one as a driver. They are the greatest invention in the world for the kids, but are the in-dash models worth the money or is just the standard system (cd, am/fm, maybe satelitte).http://vincelectronx.com/catalog346757.html

Does anyone know of a dealer in the US carrying the new Sony line? I'm specifically looking for the new USB equipped Sony CDX-GT420U CD Receiver (Crutchfield doesn't have it). -Thanks
