I have a Hi-comp AudoVox radio that keeps blowing fuses (really annoying, since they're expensive). I am going to put it in a boat, but it needs to work first! I've built a box and have 4 speakers I want to hook up, so I really want to get this to work. Do I need a new radio or what?

Hi, I have a Sony head unit (CDX-MP70) RMS 23x4 Peak 52x4. I have it hooked up to 4 Infinity Kappa 62.5i 6.5 speakers. When I turn up the volume maybe a little less than half way or more on the head unit the unit cuts out/shuts off, then in about 5 seconds it pops back on and continues playing, but will cut out again if I don't lower the volume....

Decent people of America: STOP whatever you're doing, like sleeping or trying to enjoy your own music at civilized volumes, because here they come, down your street or into the driveway next door! These snot-rags are the center of the Universe and you MUST worship their noise. The worship will continue over and over at any time of their choosing, including...

Finally, work has seemed to slow down and I am planning on installing my Rockford Fosgate 25 to Life Power 1000 in my 2006 Mustang GT in stages over the weekend. The only problem I have run across thus far is that I was planning on mounting the amp to one of the fold down rear seats. Well, the amp is too big, so it looks like I am going to have to mount...

Hi. I'm looking for some advice on head unit selection. I just bought a 2001 Monte Carlo LS. It will accomidate up to a double-DIN stereo. I have my eye on the Pioneer FH-P800BT right now, but am looking for other suggestions. I've also been looking at a lot of the Innovatek products, most of which have an oversize face fitted to a single DIN receiver,...

I've been into car audio a long time, over 20 years) and into home audio even longer). I love music and enjoy keeping up with the industry as the quality of gear has generally gone up and prices have generally gone down. For instance, head units these days are loaded with features we couldn't even imagine 20 years ago, plus the need to buy outboard processors...

Ok, time to put a small system in my daily driver, a 93 Nissan Pathfinder. The doors have stock 4x6" speakers that are mounted in a plastic harness. I was thinking about cutting out a baffle from .5" MDF and using it to mount some 6.5" drivers. If anyone has any experience with door speaker installs on this truck, any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated....
