I'm trying to `fix' some video recordings that were made on a sony vx2000 with the audio set too low. You can barely here the audio so when I amplify it with Adobe audition to the point where it can be heard well, I've introduced some really bad rumbling hissing etc from going way beyond what the source recording will allow. I have Adobe Auditon, SoundForge8...

This is kind of a fuzzy question... I'm not sure how to phrase or describe: I have Delta-66 w/break out box and use Adobe audition 2.0 for most audio editing that arises in the course of my video projects. I notice when I have adobe's Premiere pro running and set to use delt-66{asio}, when I then start Audition (also set to use delta-66{asio}. It appears...

I came across this old but very classy looking receiver but it's missing the antenna. It has four connector posts on the left it has 300 FM then the next one is 75 and the last one says loop. the nuts cannot be completely unscrewed. I'm wrapping some antenna wire around 2 of the ?? for FM radio but get lots of interference. Is there an easier way to...

I am looking for a device to manually (or any other method) rewind reel to reel tapes. Does such a thing exist... if so where can I buy one? Need such a device in order to apply tape cleaner, lubricants, etc. to tapes.

ive gad an M-Audio solo interface for a while, but now i needed more inputs for recording drums. i bought an Alesis io|26. it has 8 mic inputs, it would be great to still use my M-Audio for an extra mic input. the question is, how if possible can i use these two interfaces together on Cubase LE?

I have a soundcard for recording, the E-MU 0404, that has inputs that require my preamp and large mics that I use. Aside from not wanting to use two mics and a preamp, every time I talk over VOIP, I'm not sure, but I don't think it "duplexes" properly for use with VOIP, which I'm going to be using when I get a broadband connection soon. This recording...

In the old days the cheapo FM antenna was a T-shaped pair of wires with 2 connectors. The last 2 stereo units I've bought both had a single wire, maybe 4 feet long, with only 1 connector. Is this comparable to the old 2-wire antennae I remember? Worth replacing? Can I take an old T-type antenna and join its two wires into the single connector I have on...
