Who is Jesus? Without a doubt, you have often heard the claim that Jesus is God, the second person in the "Holy trinity." However, the very Bible which is used as a basis for knowledge about Jesus and as the basis for doctrine within Christianity clearly belies this claim. We urge you to consult your own Bible and verify that the following conclusions...

Now I don't need to go into what 'kbps" stands for or what 44,000Hz means, but I was just wondering is what some of your thresholds on here are when it comes to certain mp3 bitrates. Particularly, can you hear a difference in the same song recorded at a bitrate of 96kbps and at 128kbps? Between 128kbps and 160kbps? From 160 to, say, 256? 300kbps...

My listening room is 10x10. I presently have Epos els 3 speakers powered by Nad 7155. If I were to upgrade speakers, say Epos m5, what difference would I hear between speakers. I listen to blues, rock etc. . I like the Epos 3's but for few more $$ is there a significant difference in sound between the two speakers, for the money. Thank you

Stan White designed an amplifier with power rather than voltage feedback, called "Powrtron", sometime in the 1950s. It appears in the "Audio Anthology" books chronicling audio development and reprinted by OCSL/The Audio Amateur. Mr White seems to be still going at it, to judge from a website. But is power feedback compatible with crossover networks in...

one of my Probe Jaydes sounds thin, I suspect the problem is the signal going into the midrange ( not a driver problem ) Company is out of business, ( no parts available) any hope of service anywhere ? Stephen

*Long story short, when I was a kid we used to drop things into my friends lighted pool at night. We were just goofing around, but now that I remember the experience from 40 or so years ago, I recall we enjoyed the sounds and sights of the experience. One time we dropped, you had to drop cause throwing produced a different effect, a bowling ball held...

i have a sony cmtcp101 system, a little all in one cassette, cd and tuner. It has input jacks for audio in- the manual specifies MD and VCR. I plugged my turntable cords into the jacks just fine, but i can only get really muted sound out of it at full volume. any way i can fix this?

I need to record an event which is supposed to last couple of hours. The source will be audio mixer and the destination a PC (recording through line in). Would be nice if the recording could be in "one peice". I have no previous experience, but I am sure resulting file will be large. What I don't want to happen during the process is to get an error message...

Can anyone here give me some recommendations for audio software? I've been using Audacity for over a month now to rip my record collection to CD's and I like the fact that it's free. But I'm finding the program somewhat limiting as far as equalization and adding reverb is concerned. It simply doesn't work in realtime. So you must first make the edit THEN...

This is a follow-up to my earlier post about the Yamaha CDX-710 CD player that would sometimes skip during playback. I took the suggestion to lubricate the CD spindle motor and replace the grease on the upper CD clamp spindle (this is the part that I had to occasionally press on in order to stop the CD player from skipping). First, I dismantled the...

Just picked up a Dual 1219 turntable via Craig's List. Works well except that after 20 minutes, motor (I think) gets very noisy like a screeching noise - seems to come from motor - my guess is it is a bearing in the motor. Anybody have this problem? Any suggestions? If I need a new motor where could I get it? Thanks in advance - Scott
