Hi, I'm looking for space saving options here. Are there sound cards that allow you to plug in your unpowered nice spearkers directly into it? Obviously I know very little about audio and electronics. I would hope to be able to plug in up to three pairs of speakers. Basically, I have a computer that's already acting as a TV/DVD player/ thermostat controller/etc...

The samples have been compiled. They will be a very specific type of music, early 8-bit mono tracks utilizing square/sawtooth waves for melody, triangle for bass and white noise for percussion, with a duration of 10 - 50 seconds. They'll be encoded with different codecs at various bitrates, decoded to raw waveform and packed in a RAR archive with a copy...

I'm working on a Technics audio amp from the late 70's with blown outputs. I've found one source (in Europe) for these transistors, but they're asking $20 each for them and I am concerned about counterfeits. They are 150V 10A 120W, with an f(T) of 50MHz... they are faster than anything I can find out there. 1. Is it important that I replace them...

Hi, I'm looking for an alternative to plugging my mp3 player in a preamp. What I would like to have a standalone mp3 player with comfortable size controls, a large comfortable display and enough space to house all my songs. Hopefully it can also act as a preamp. And ideally there is a version that can be completely tucked away, for example an in-wall...

I was gifted this severely non-functional integrated amp and am seeking a service manual for it. It's very heavy and looks to be extremely well built, I've never seen a mainstream-brand integrated with such a beautiful potted transformer before, and I would like to repair it if it doesn't break the bank.
