Modded before I got it..speaker has been patched but sounds good ( to me ). This amp Loves pedals. Good shape - Tolex is in good shape. New power and output transformers. Hello. For the 12.6/6.3V heater tubes, with a centre-tapped heater, such as 12AX7, etc., apparently one can ground pin 9 and supply 6.3V to pins 4 and 5, or alternatively, ground pins 4 and 5 and supply 6.3V to pin 9. I am wondering, is there a preferred way of doing it? Which connection results in a lower hum? If there is no difference hum-wise, perhaps...

I did some loadline work for 2 x 300B with Ea = 400V. If Ia = 70mA per tube, the load for class A1 PP = 7.8ka-a and PO = 15.5 watts. If load = 6k, PO become AB, and at clip in AB1 PO = 20.4W. The first 7 watts is class A if the idle current is 50mA. But with the same 6k, and AB2, you get an extra 70pk volts of swing at each anode and PO comes to...
