I have been looking for a somewhere to purchase flsuh mount turn signals (I would prefer LED type) for a 2004 Ninja 500R and have been unable to find them. I would prefer ones that require no modification to the fairing. I would appreciate any help in where to purchase some. Thanks

Well, that was about it. I took the Buell to the HOG chapter meeting and wound up taking it home after, to get my Harley. I was afraid that I would also fuck up the brake in as I seriously wanted to keep up with the group but the Uly's manual suggests 2500 RPM for the first 100 miles, that = 50 MPH in 5th gear. Then way up to 3500 RPM for the rest of...

On Saturday I had my bike in the shop for scheduled maintenance. There was a BMW K75/7 in the shop. It really made me appreciate just how much bike technology has advanced. It was also a sharp reminder of how simple bikes used to be. I can't see myself owning such an antique. But I could certainly appreciate the engineering of it. I was told it was...

I hit a tour bus on my bike, killing all aboard. My bike was unscathed. And so was I. <big-thumbs-up> -- This post uses 100% post consumer electrons and 100% virgin photons. The bike IS a classic. AND it is old enough to qualify for a 'C' plate in Quebec, so if you are in the province and are so inclined, you could get your plate for $80/year. The model is one that is recommended for people with potential height issues. My wife can even flat-foot the machine. In original black paint with pinstripes. I've owned her since...

2006 Buell Ulysees. As promised I test rode a 2006 Uly, with 4000 miles on it, today, at Glendale Harley. What a hoot! It makes the R1200GS I tested rode seem pedestrian at best. Plenty of torque, power and a whale of fun, even at my current weight. We rode up behind Griffith Park and into the park's 25mph twisties. I slowed to let the leader get far...

I'll be test riding one this morning. I sat on it Thursday. I'm 6'1" with a 32" inseam and I was on tippy toes. How does this work if your struggling in the gravel and need to put a foot down? I'll report later on what I think. Not that it matters, I've never ridden a dual sport off road anyway. And, considering it's Glendale, Ca. I doubt I will today. --...

http://www.americanthinker.com/2007/03/young_democrats_just_dont_get.html In the current War on Terror, or clash of civilizations, we are being reminded that the war is a failure and that the Bush administration never had a plan in Iraq. In fact our liberal friends feel that the failures in Iraq are sufficient reason to abandon the whole thing as Bush's...
