"Patton" Staring George C. Scott and Karl Malden. One of my favorite pictures. When I feel that the world is closing in on me I watch this movie and it puts everything back into perspective. OF

I've found my IR non-contact thermometer valuable in detecting cylinder to cylinder differences on the KZP. It's easy to find one that's rich, or lean or not running. I think I see a greater role for one of these even with single-cyl bikes. I think that once I get all four engines on my KZP running just right... balanced... stoichiometric... that I'll...

This thing is way knarly! No cost for trailer tags and no more loading your bike in the back of a pickup. After riding all day and a few beers who wants to lift a bike into a truck? NOT I... Check this out... Email me if you want one and you can have one too. http://www.carpetsense.biz/BikeRack/

Just got home from work a few hours ago. You might say the commute was rather intense today. Super quiet on the way in, though, as I'm sure lots of folks called off today so they wouldn't have to endure the nightmare traffic that ensues whenever there's an event in the city. San Francisco was an absolute madhouse today! I took Van Ness down to 101 on the...

On Monday, my daughter got a rejection letter from CU. She was crushed. Her boyfriend has already been accepted, and she was planning her entire life around going to the same school. Last night I drove her and a friend down to a concert in Denver. After dropping her off, I went over to Fay Myers to kill some time. On the clearance rack were some...

I had a $100 Amazon gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket....OK it was actually about to expire and decided to get an entry level HC to test the waters. I bought the Oregon Scientific ATC-2K (IIRC, Wuds, you have one of these don't ya?) and have played with it just long enough to have a few questions for the GOR guru's. Overall for PC playback...

If I could get updates on the Ford Field Supercross(Like the 1st, 2nd, 3rd podium standings) after the race that would be great. Because I don't get Speed channel.

Not sure if this is a re-post, but, thought the RMD community might be interested in participating in this survey. I found the link on: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Article_Page.aspx?ArticleID=6212&Page=1 and the survey link is: http://online.svia.org/survey/cgi-bin/qweb.cgi?4YXM42B Might be worth a few minutes of our time. Thanks, SloCalSpode

I may travel to the Black Hills for Memorial Day Weekend. It has been pointed out that the open trails there may not be open by 2009, and I need to go this year if I intend to experience them. Anyone wanting to have a fun ride is welcome to join in. Jim Wudsracer/Jim Cook Smackover Racing '06 Gas Gas DE300 ...

Changed the oil on the XRL- smelled a bit fuel contaminated. If I'm running a little rich (only sign is a little black on the exhaust outlet, runs just fine), is that enough to cause this? Or was it more likely the time the bike spent on its side at various attitudes? How rich would you have to be to get the fuel smelling a bit, anyway? Dav...
