I finally got around to starting the break-in on my CR125 yesterday. Everybody says that the bikes are brutally rich down low as delivered - and basically won't even run, fouling plugs in 5 minutes if riding in technical terrain. The JD jetting kit uses a 35 pilot, down from 55 stock (!) and keeps the stock main, with his special secret needle. I expected...

Well RMD, I got off my butt Saturday morning and headed to Hollister Hills to try out the trails the finally opened on the Renz property they purchased over 10 years ago. The gate is located across from the ATV track. However, only the access road/trails are open to ATVs. They list all the single track as black diamond, but I will drag anybody that can...

I'm very mechanical just not very knowledgeable. My son has started racing his 07 KX250F. He is small but growing. I should adjust his suspension for his weight but I don't know which weight springs to buy. He weighs about 110lbs. Any help will be appreciated. -- Rob

I'm interested in pulling about 27 cfm at 23 in-Hg through four 34mm paths continuously. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to accomplish this electrically? I may have access to a Roots blower that used to live on a 460 Ford. I'm also interested in suggestions for a fluid that has very similar viscosity and surface tension to gas, but which is...

Now I had better get back to the 6-pack I was told was required for the job... ;-) Thanks again guys! If ya get to Sacramento how about letting me buy you a beer? Scott

I don't really like most of the dual sports that are on the market. I am thinking of putting lights and such on a dirtbike to make it street legal. Does anybody make such a kit? Thanks, Hank <~~~not too bright

Got a phone call this morning from a good friend of mine who told me that he and a partner have taken over two riding parks in Virginia. One is a strictly MX park called South Fork that runs a good number of D13 races located between Petersburg and the NC state line off I-95 and the other is VMP (Virginia Motorsports Park) just outside Petersburg off I-85....

This interest is never going to happen... email me if you're interested. I bought it about 51 weeks ago for $2000 which was a fair price then for a bike in good shape. The bike has been driven about 200 yards since then and is actually on the same tank of gas. I have some spare plastic and a manual for it. No title but I don't think you need to do that...

* forums.somethingawful . com /showthread.php?threadid=2850582 The four Germanbuilt model aircraft engines he currently uses provide 200lb of thrust each, enough to enable the 110lb foldable carbon wings, and Rossy in his 120lb flying suit, to climb at 200ft a minute. "Physically, it's absolutely no stress," Rossy said. "It's like being on a motorbike....

Hey all, I just posted about a broken oil plug and received some good advice (easy out), unfortunately, after I took off the skid plate to get to the remainder of the plug still in the cases, I found that the plug was apparently hollow. Yeah, HOLLOW! These was no solid metal to put the easy-out into. There was a bit of metal about 1/4 inch in but the hole-making...

Hello! My boyfriend wants to do this vacation: Dirt biking in Laos and I want to be ready for it. I am 40 years old and know the basics about how to ride a bike but haven’t been on one in years, and never did any rough dirt biking. Do you know of any courses or anything I can do to get ready for this? It sounds like so much fun I dont’ want to be...

Dang, been a long time since I ventured into RMD land! Headed up to SD, MT, and then ID to score the ISDE Qualifier here in a few weeks. Thoughts of Idaho reminded me of RMD and I thought I'd hop on and see whats up. Looks like a lot of the same names are still here! I remember when I was an A rider and didn't really care about points or my finishing...

I got a 1994 Ford Escort for free the other day and now I am trying to get to start. I jumped it to get to where I live but now it is being a piece of shit. I removed the starter and tested it with jumper cables and it worked great. I tested the hot wire to the starter and it lit right up. The black wire to the solenoid, however, shows little voltage with...
