Eric and I spent a very wet week in Nevada over Memorial Day. We mostly did dual-sporty stuff on the "big bikes" (his LC4 640e and my Husky 610) but we also took the 450 and 426 out for a ride on some very bitchin' horse trails. Lotsa wild horses out there... Anyway, here's the full story (including yet another expensive tow/ recovery effort and a little...

Looking for help on a "project" bike. Did a lot of engine work (full tear down) only to find the clutch action does not give enough travel to disengage the pressure plate. Seems like there is a transfer action in the left main case that I do not understand, nor do I see any info on it in the Clymer manual that I got with it. Any help? BTW, the Honda...

It almost never rains here in the desert but it rained. Upper elevations had snow including the upper White mountains. The view, however, was tremendous. The Sierras, which are in my...

I took my 250X out this weekend for a few hours. Man, what a nice bike. As most of you know, I am a devout 2-stroke aficionado, but after this weekend, I'm considering a shift to the other camp. Riding in the tight and rocky as I do, I generally short shift. When ridden in this manner, the 250X feels like a small-bore XR. Although the motor can surely...

After picking up the 650L a couple of times recently, I've come to desire a lighter bike. What a dearth of acceptable bikes out there. I need someone to build me the perfect machine. I want something that is reasonably comfortable for a long day, with adequate power for the highway. Since the 650L is (optimistically) 350#, I would want to drop...
