A guy at a H-D dealership told me this morning that Harley had bought Ducati. I've Googled it to death and all I can find is some gossip about it but nothing dated after June 2007. There was nothing about it in the last stock holders report. Anyone know the straight scoop? -- Ride Safe! Greasy Rider http://tinyurl.com/2h98ax

Have a round of your choice on me. I'd like to know if there are any folks running regular (i.e., 87 octane) gasoline in their TC96 engine, and if it is causing any problems? I ran regular unleaded in my '05 TC88 Low Rider with no problems at all. 91/93 octane gas in St. Louis is 25 cents more per gallon than regular. -- _____ _____ | ____|...

A while back I posted about the difficulties I was having with my wife getting on and off the bike. Then, I posted about dropping it coming to an abrupt stop, and a few of you folks mentioned the Ride Like a Pro DVD. Well, the DVD (version V) came in the mail, and as I was watching, right at Chapter 10, he shows his idea of how a passenger could easily get...

Folks, Let me open by stating that I AM NOT DEAD!! This is a lie being purpetrated by my ex-husband, Raymond Ronald Karczewski as a reaction to our recent divorce. It has taken literally decades for me to find the strength to leave Ray, decades of enduring staggering abuse and neglect at the hands of this violent maniac. Ray has on many occasions...

Congratulations to Dan'l, who is now the proud owner of the coveted (by Larry) EKIII/VB&G patches for the princely sum of $175!! Well done, Dan'l. Special Thanks to FNG Jim, Hoodlum©#25, who donated the patch. Carry On...

The south wins again!!!!!! Three men - a Canadian farmer, Osama bin Laden and a KENTUCKY GENTLEMAN are all working together one day. They come across a lantern and a Genie pops out of it. 'I will give each of you one wish, which is three wishes in total', says the Genie. The Canadian says, 'I am a farmer and my son will also farm. I want the land...

I've been lurking for awhile now and fine-tuning my 'white list' by checking the google website now and then and spotted this lonely post (no replies) and thought I'd try to lend a hand...knowing that many have all of googlegroups filtered. Shirley has my plastic...belly up. Tinman might appreciate it and RAW's gonna have Meet May 10th. The whole...

So I wander down to the local H-D shop in Greenville to pick up 4 bolts and 4 rivnuts to mount the cop seat on Rodney. "We've got the bolts but not the rivnuts" Figures. According to the funny parts guy, the closest rivnuts are in Raleigh, NC. I JUST FUCKIN' CAME FROM THERE. Figures. ASSHOLE#104 Len

Has anybody tried these products? What were the results? I'm near the end of my 58 pan project and have bought new drag pipes for it. I would like to know if this stuff works or not. Thanks for your time, Ed

A tall (ish) figure approaches the vb&g, he looks older (ish) but that's probably on account of the new face fungus he's sporting. He opens the door just a crack and peers inside. The place is still kicking under the ownership of #123. There are the regular patrons, some new faces, and the odd whacko who will need to be shown the door. He walks up to...

SHORT VERSION OF LONG POST: Inner Primary Case appears to be leaking at bolt to tranny. Will applying silicone to the bolt and torquing the bolt to spec stop the primary oil leak? Long version: I=92ve checked the archives and didn=92t find any post on this problem (but that doesn=92t mean there=92s none there). IF someone has been unlucky enough to...

Help yourself to a cold one on me. I've run the googler and come up empty. Before I try to lift it out of the frame, it might be kind of nice to know roughly how much the Evo crankcase weighs. I intend to remove the heads, jugs, and pistons, then unbolt the primary chain case and the motor mounts, and lift it out by hand. 40, 50, 80lbs? I haven't...

Watch Out! There are still machines out there that have not been fixed! I have a 99 Dyna in my garage now with 11346 miles that shit the cam bearing. This bike was purchased from an estate on the right coast last year with very low miles (it was pushed in circles in the garage while the rider made vroom vroom noises). The buyer told me that all...
