Just bought my first Harley, 2006 Deuce. Have had sportbikes in the past and now that I have matured it was time for a HD. Picked the Deuce for the look and ride, also looked at the Wide Glide, it has the Stage 1 and Screamin Eagle pipes but I want to put on the SE Heavy Breather Air Cleaner, any comments or advice? I am also looking at changing the pipes,...

I may not be layed off! My current position has been "outsourced" and the 30 day clock has begun to tick. Shirley bring me a double, and whatever they're havin'! Here's the scoop... I may be offered a position in Wash, I may have a choice of the following locals, Marysville, Kirkland, or Lynnwood. I don't have any contacts in the company yet, so.... Which...

The supplied subject above is meant facetiously... poking fun at the content within the news article below. And please, now that I've alerted you to this new cop bike's speed capability, if you attend the MDA Fall Ride in nearby Tomahawk, don't roll through Rhinelander and try to outrun the scooter cop on duty. -------------- New Police Motorcycle...

If you got to make the ultimate biking road trip of your life (and money, geographic location of the trip and model of the desired bike you'd most want to use wasn't a limitation), what witty things or person/s would you most want to take with you and please say why. You can take any high profile person/s you admire, irrespective whether anyone named is...

This is pretty nifty. Just enter your zip code in the site below, and it tells you which gas stations have the cheapest prices (and the highest) on gas in your zip code area. It's updated every evening. * autos.msn . com /everyday/gasstations.aspx?zip=&src=Netx Alla friggin' good neighbors are passing this along.

Prob'ly made the rounds before, but I never read it: Her & His Diary HER DIARY: Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it. Conversation wasn't flowing,...

Every year I take the windshield off of my bike, to remind myself why I have it in the first place. Shirley will set 'em up for you, while I explain. I am a member of a smallish club, and we put on a run each spring to open up our riding season here in northern Minnesota. Sometimes we get nice weather, but often we will get spring showers and chilly weather,...

Although it was only 34 this morning, I rode to work. On a nice clean shiny bike. 8-) I took the lazy way out and went to the self-serve car wash on Saturday. NO I DIDN'T PRESSURE WASH THE SEALS AND ELECTRICS! I used the wand to presoak and then use some kind of glow in the dark soap to wash the big chunks off the bike. That along with a brush got...

Trying to figure out a stroker shovelhead. Brought to me with starter problems. Seems the problem goes deeper as I was not able to kick it through (ignition off). Got 90 lbs just bouncing on the kicker. 'Lectric start is junked, but I figger if I can't kick it a new starter is just gonna get smoked. So I got to looking at the cam timing. It has an...

I slept in this morning, till seven, then started trying to figure out where to ride today. I left the house about 10:30 and headed South on Pleasant Grove Rd, took a right on Hwy 41. It's a nice road with fairly nice scenery till you get to Brooksville. After that a portion of it is 4 or more lanes but there was not enough traffic to interfere with me...
