SWMBO's back tire picked up a roofing staple and went flat last night, barely getting her home. She was ahhh ... 'disappointed' that she'd have to cage to work Tuesday. But the local H-D dealer came to the rescue! They picked up her bike at home at 10AM on Memorial Day for FREE and took it to the shop where they replaced the tube ($26) for one hour...

These are just a few things that traveled through my brain whilst riding this past weekend. Wherever you go on a motorcycle, it's never far enough. Someone is always willing to tell you their tale of their Harley. Riding with friends will increase the laugh factor by 1000. Riding alone without GPS, without a schedule, without a map... is the only way...

Barkeep, cold beer and wings please this is a long one. Better keep my tab open for this, here's my credit card. A while back, at the beginning of the month in fact I began writing up a trip to Italy that was undertaken by some patrons of the vb&g. Well stuff gets in the way, but finally here is the next installment. I hope you can get to the end. ...

Well fuck, here we go again this year. Anyone headed to MISFIT in a few months, be aware. I know the dragon is going to be my route to get there, mostly due to it being the shortest way. Yeah, that's it, cause it's the shortest way. I'd never ride the dragon for the thrill of speed. Fucking do-gooder pricks. http :// www .knoxnews, com /news/2008/may/26/blount-officers-work-to-tame-the-dragon/ http :// www .knoxnews, com /news/2008/may/26/052608dragonside/ --...

Deepest gratitude to those who have died in the service of their country. Without that sacrifice we wouldn't have the freedoms that we enjoy in the US. -- Spunky the Tuna no politics today

I want to take the time to thank all the veterans for their service. Thank you! I also want to thank the families of the veterans that gave their lives in the service of their country. If it was not for all of you I would not be here doing the things I do everyday! I thank you all! danl

I went out to the construction entrance and checked out some of the trails today, just to see if I had a chance of going with the others. Other than a couple of slight mishaps, it looked like I might make it. This tree wanted to end my day early. It was vine and leaf covered, with the end just at the edge of the trail. I never saw it until after hitting...

That column of Harley oil hung in the air, glistening in the flourescent lighting of my garage. Funny how the surface tension is so thick that the column hung there, an apparition of a log, it stayed hovering long enough that I thought I might be able to snatch it out of the air in one piece and prevent the inevitable. Lemme back up a little. I'm...

Grizz is at Roach's using his computer while he sleeps. I'm heading to Mambm, then To Port Richey Florida. I'll be in Florida for about 2 weeks, if anyone is in the area, and is interested in meeting to swap some lies, I'll ask Tud to pass on my contact info. I don't know when I'll have internet access again, so I'll check with Tud if anyone wants to...
