Hi. My xv535 wouldn't start the other week. It was taking a little while for the front cylinder to fire the last few times I started it. Rear cylinder was fine. I've taken off the carbs and cleaned the jets, checked the float needle valve is working, and generally it all seems ok. Couldn't get into the diaphram part because my torx key wouldn't fit the...

It doesn't make any difference how much weight is used so long as half is on the left and half on the right side of the rim or else you will incur dynamic imbalance. Are you sure no liquid sealant has been introduced into the tube? Any liquid will seek the greatest radius and sit there, imblancing the assembly. Il mittente di questo messaggio|The sender...

HI a buddy has a 1994 Kawasaki KDX 400 four stroke and is trying to get his carb straightened out. After replacing the float needle and seat, he replaced the float and set it level to the carb body. Testing the float statically with the bowl off, the fuel appeared to shut of as you raised the float toward the body, with still 1/4" to go. After installing...

Is there a DIY method to measure the flow-rate of coolant through a motorcycle radiator? My bike is 12 years old and I'm wondering if there's been enough scale build-up in the radiator fins to reduce flow- rate and the water-cooling efficiency of the radiator. I've looked in the bike service manual and it gives no information on how to test for flow rate....

Had to put nearly 3 ounces (85 grams) of weights on an Avon Storm tire to get it to static balance. Seemed like a lot of weight for a premium tire. Anyone had similar experience? Dealer said I shouldn't have to balance it since most motorcycle tires are pretty much balanced from the manufacturer. Not to doubt him, but that seems a stretch. B...

Why can't you get a hammer head for an air hammer. All I can find is chisels and more chisels, no hammers. I want to drive roll pins and drive nails. Why do they call it an air 'hammer' if you can't hammer with it? -- Booboo ? 3 :) 7/8
