I'm sorry if this has been answered before. This is a legit question so please bear with me. My set up is not optimum. I do not have a dedicated darkroom (for now at least). I've done many many rolls of film over the years. I throw everyting into a changing bag, load up a reel and no problem. I'm getting ready to process 4x5 sheet film for the...

September 27, 2007, from Lloyd Erlick, Recently I posted regarding a print developer I've been playing with lately: Edwal 102 (Potassium version). On Sept. 19, I made up a working solution of 102, according to the formula I posted. I made a couple of prints that day. After this, I stored the developer in a sealed plastic bottle, filled nearly to the...

September 20, 2007, from Lloyd Erlick, I've been having beautiful results on Ilford Warmtone FB material (MGW) with this developer... Prints are gorgeous after selenium toning. (I use KRST diluted 1+5, for ten minutes, at about 32-34C.) ____________________________________ 102 Print Developer (Original due to Edmund Lowe) Potassium Version, Working...

This really isn't a darkroom question but since most who read these posts are competent photographers I will ask.....how do I calibrate or check the accuracy of a handheld light meter? I use it in the ambient light mode.

September 13, 2007, from Lloyd Erlick, Today I used some Kodak Metol I bought in June, 2000. The container was the original in which it was supplied. Only a few grams of Metol remained inside. I used seven grams, and perhaps the same still remain now. The container is full of air, of course, and I have certainly never excluded the air by filling with...

She is one fine looking girl, there is no doubt about that, but does she really need to get naked? I think the purpose was overlooked on this one, not that i am a prude, i just would have like to see this girl with more clothes on. Anyhow, thanks for the link ok Regards George * w w w .article-website . com /jessy.htm * w w w .satelliteinformation.n...

Hey It's good to see a group about this topic, it's not as well covered as it should be. People don't realize how expensive professional photography can be! That's why people who need/want great photos need to push the issue. I mean, I know why photographers charge as much as they do, or at least why they charge a lot anyway; business costs and all that....
