Since Kodak has now discontinued infrared film can someone suggest a suitable replacement?

Can someone tell me what the difference is between RLS and RHS? Does "low speed" mean slow development times or low film speed? Carl Wegerer, III Mesquite TX USA

I am looking for a part for the Besseler Dual Mode Slide Duplicator. It would be the flange which goes between the bellows and Nikon t-mount. Is this part still around? Are there substitutes? The Bowens Illumitran looks similar in design. Would there be a Bowens part that would work? The other thought is that there are t-adapters for telescopes....

I happen to have all three sets of Kodak rotary-processing recommendations for Tmax 400 in front of me: the old (prior to move to new coating facility) Publication F-32, the "new" (first generation at new coating faciity) F-4016, and the "newest" (current production, "finer grain!") F-4032. Kodak claims that the "finer grain" TMY -- the newest stuff --...

Curious if there is a current book that covers film 'developing' on subjects such as the effects that specific developers will have of specific films and such, like bring- ing out the best sharpness and contrasty tonality with shadow detail. The idea is a specialist book of teaching these things, I am no expert and have had very little experience in the...

Hi ng, I'm just begining to dive into the photographic process, so my practical experience is still scarse. - I try to figure out the basics in a theoretical way first. In case of the negative/positive process (both b&w and color) there is the relationship of contrast and gamma and I simply can't get that into my head, no matter how much I read and think...

I just got a hold of an old Kodak poster at an auction over the weekend. It's 19"x30" in sepia. The words "Kodak Keeps Them Little" across the top, a picture of a little girl on a tree branch holding a teddy bear, and the words "Enlarged from a snapshot made on Kodak Verichrome Film" at the bottom with a smaller picture of the larger picture beside these...

I know this borders on the ridiculous. Someone advertised an APS camera for sale on a local mailing list, and this brought back memories. I have several APS cameras all bought for nearly nothing years ago and a lot of C-41 APS film, all bought out of date and they sat at room temperature for 3-4 years. Nothing is special about them, they were cheap cameras...

Hi, Since I've not managed to reache Lloyd Erlick's web site, so I like to ask some basic questions about how to exactly do single-tray printing here. Hope you professionals be kind to give me some clear answers. Thanks in advance. I already have basic ideal about single-tray, i.e. pouring-in, pouring-out in only one tray, but I don't know ( For both...
