Hello, Album number 33, named “March 2008-4” has been just published. Thanks to 361 visitors of album number 32. This is information about my website, but not a spam. The galleries of this website display photographs taken around the Opale Coast in France, near Le Touquet, under an ever-changing light. The pictures are changed twice a month....

Was down in Sydney on the long weekend and took a walk around The Rocks. Thought I'd have some fun making some cross-eye stereograms. This was probably my fav. Just some beergarden: http :// piggo, com /~troy/photos/2008_06_09-Sydney_stereograms/1280/img_8239_stereo.jpg This one I liked too. Here's my favorite pic of the month (and maybe the year) so far... http :// www .pbase, com /bret/image/98441768/original I took this one today with the Totally Digital D60 Infrared as a big storm approached. The horses were just standing around when a loud thunderclap boomed directly overhead. The horses were a bit startled. I, however, remained steady...

The mandate Jim chose was a good opportunity for me to illustrate how the visual and tactile can meld. I chose the apple and the cup because I knew the bumpy, translucent material of the cup would produce an interesting highlight pattern, as long as the exposure was controlled. If I set the flash too high, the background tended to gray out so much...

Hi all.. I've been reading through this group for the past 8 years or so .. Started out with an old Pentax and an m 50mm lens.. And was always envious of the cameras going around at the time .. I always tried to justify spending so much money on a new camera, if all I was going to do was take random pictures of either my family or, when I have time and...

Hi Follks. Sick of not getting your work exhibited where it deaserves? Sick of not getting ANY recognition for your talent? Then perhaps you might like to consider exhibting online. We are the net's first peer based art review magazine, focusing on lens based practices. A kind of artist's run cyber-gallery for lens based practitioners. We are...

Went to shoot the ospreys again this evening. I got there under dark threatening skies, but it started to clear off right about the time the sun was setting. http :// www .pbase, com /bret/image/98287940/original So it was a battle of slower shutter speeds & high ISOs. http :// www .pbase, com /bret/image/98287944 http :// www .pbase, com /bret/image/98287941 http :// www .pbase, com /bret/image/98287945 http :// www .pbase, com /bret/image/98287946 http :// www .pbase, com /bret/image/98287947 Oh...

Hi, I've got an interest in macro photography that sort of waxes and wanes. So far, I've been using a really cheap set of close-up lenses (+1/2/4/10, made by a company called Sonia, ~$20) on my Canon 18-55 and 75-300 USM, as well as a reversing ring to attach my 50mm to the end of my 75-300. The Sonia +1 and +2 close-up lenses actually give reasonable...
