Hello, is anyone aware of a good and reliable place in the US where they offer face-mounting of prints to glass or plexiglass (the "Diasec" procedure)? An internet search unveiled surprisingly few labs (two, to be precise), but I would bet there´s much more of them? Any personal experience with one or the other of these labs? Thanks for sharing your...

Hi everyone, after countless calls and e-mails to dealers in the U.S., the U.K. and continental Europe it seems clear to me that neither 5x7 nor 13x18 Velvia 100 is available any more in any of these countries. However, I could identify a source in Japan where 5x7 Velvia can be ordered at reasonable conditions. For those who are interested, here´s the...

OK, all you old optics hotshots: see if you can identify this one. (I think I tried here a year ago or more, but have some new information.) It's an old-fashioned (meaning pre-Compur even) lens in shutter. The pneumatic (self-cocking) shutter says "Victor" on the aperture plate at bottom (marked from f/8 to f/64), and "R.O & C. CO." on top, which I assume...

If anyone has a WW II Metrogon lens in pristine condition for sale, please let me know. Prefer lens elements only but tell me what you have. Glass must be coated and perfect. Appreciate all responses.

Hi, I know little about photography, so I am contacting you experts. We are trying to figure out the best way to videotape a subject in a 10 x 15 vertical field - about 6 feet away from the camera. Is this a fisheye solution; or are there other ways to solve ? If it is a fisheye lens that is needed, is there a basic way to convert the fisheye images...
