I would like to find a customer to buy my entire collection of large- format cameras, lenses and misc. There is a 4x5 Graflex and a 4 x5 Graphic, at least 6 lenses, etc., etc. all for $850. Banking and Insurance institutions nationwide have vested interests in homes, cars, commercial property, businesses, trucks, RVs, boats, stores, restaurants, or any entity requiring financing or insurance. Yeterday, I won a vintage studio negative of Norma Shearer made by George E. Hurrell for the M-G-M film Riptide. The negative was describe as being in fair condition with a stain in the middle of the image. Is there any hope of the stain being removed and the negative restored? So, I am sitting here with a large format field camera procurred from school and I can't for the life of me figure out if I am supposed to load the film holder into the camera from the left or the right. If I load it from the left I would be loading it on the side that the spring (metal bar that bends a bit) holding the glass on starts on and is screwed...
