Just an FYI to those of you with a Microtek 120TF or Polaroid Sprintscan 120, or those considering buying one. Microtek does not sell replacement bulbs, and does not repair them any longer. They were kind enough to offer a brand new unit to replace my old one, for the special price US $1450. B&H sells them for $50 more.

looking for a digital camera to use as an exposure meter and histogram display for my film camera. preferred features: - small size - low price - accurate histogram - iso range 100-1600 - zoom range 24-200 (35mm equiv) - manual aperture & shutter speed - ease of use to look at histograms resolution/noise are not important.

Would someone please explain how the extension tubes for the Pentax 67 work? Do they allow for automatic diaphragm stopping down for example or is it necessary to set the lens to manual mode? So far I've only used close up lenses for the occasional "macro" shot, but this suffers from the usual sharpness problems. Thanks.. -- Robert D Feinman - Landscapes,...

An image captured with a Yashica-MAT 124G won 2nd place in Popular Photography's August 2007 Your Best Shot. My 124G is in regular use and it's nice to know others appreciate its capacity to capture beautiful images. SW
