Banking and Insurance institutions nationwide have vested interests in homes, cars, commercial property, businesses, trucks, RVs, boats, stores, restaurants, or any entity requiring financing or insurance. These companies need to have updated and accurate information on the condition of this property continuously. It is simply not cost effective for them...

One of the flags of the demise of film production by Kodak and Fuji has been the discontinuation of certain films in less than popular sizes. For a long time the only 110 around was ISO 200. APS film, always limited, has lost the Kodak chromogenic B&W, the ISO 100 emulsions, and now apparently Fuji's 800 and both Kodak and Fuji's 400 are going away, leaving...

I loved landscape photography very much but my landscapes were always boring flat lines, glorious and beautiful flowers in my garden lacked the spectacular detail they had in real life, night time shots were always blurry, never getting the sharpness or quality I wanted, action shots were just as bad and out of focus all the time. The people shots I took...

Your photography equipment needs are minimal. You'll need a basic SLR camera - film or digital. For additional control and future options, the flash should be removeable. You'll also need lenses to cover the standard range of portrait shooting distances, a couple zoom lenses will work admirably. Clearly, more camera gear is better, but this will handle getting...

We've been presented with a roll of film for scanning - about 45 years old, Plus-X film that's uncut and tightly wound from being stored in a canister for all that time. We're having a hell of a time getting it straightened to the point where we can run it through our Sony UY-S90 film scanner. We've tried washing it, hanging it with alligator clips...

Now that Baboo _and_ Duggal have sunk below acceptable levels of quality and customer service can anyone recommend a decent lab that still does dip-and-dunk processing and non-digital prints? Anyone have experience with L&I Color Lab on 17th Street? Thanks jon -- 404: .sig Not Found

Anybody wanna discuss film? This website shows results of film testing by a Russian institute: http://filmscan.ru/articles/article07.html I deleted all the discontinued films sorted results by resolution, then tested ISO. Your choice of text or spreadsheet. http://cacreeks.com/filmscanRU.txt http://cacreeks.com/filmscanRU.xls Comments?
