I have seen lots of photos of animal, birds, flowers, bees in this newsgroup and other camera talk fourms. I have seen beautiful pictures of humming birds frozen by the camera's extremelly fast shutter speed. However, I rarely see a good quality photo of a flying fish. I took some photos of the moon tonight. They were taken around 20:30h, 1 hour after sunset. The moon was located less than 45 degrees from the horizon. I don't know whether the timing and the position of the moon was ideal or not. The smaller moon object was taken with the G7, and the larger ones with FZ18. I also was not sure whether I should push the zoom...

I took this shot a few days ago. The original digital exif data were F5.6, 1/320 sec, ISO100. Photo was taken at 7:00 PM with the sunset at the opposite site at 7:30PM. Original image was then cropped and a maximum contrast was utilized to bring the light blue sky to black. I could not recall what focal length was the photo taken, but I did not use any tripod....
