Hello, I just updated my site with several new nature shots. http://www.forestwander.com and http://www.forestwander.com/gallery I am looking into digiscoping with a cannon G9 does anyone have any experience with this set up? I am primarily wanting to do this for wildlife shots from a distance.

My better half is taking me up to Ivalo for a couple of days this weekend, hopefully to see the northern lights. I know it's not the best time of the year, but any birding suggestions would be very welcome. Any point in driving up to the Varanger fjord? And where would I find all those bird feeders I've seen mentioned? TIA. Richard.

The other day, I was out at sunrise and saw a beautiful grass-covered hill tinged with orange. Along the top of the hill, the tall grass drew attention to its wavy outline against a clear blue sky.
