Ok. My SO had to buy the newest version from Stedman's. He lives in MI and I live in FL. I emailed him my BLOCKS. He copied into Stedmans ST BLOCKS folder, but they are not "active." as in, when you type, you can SEE the names in the screen below, but they are not working. OH!! By the way, I signed up for Chuck's kind of like a myspace. Haven't had time to set up anything yet. But if anybody wants to go see, I recently set up a regular myspace account. Jody I think it was Melinda who said they'd have to pry it from her cold, dead fingers, though I might have plagerized her. The answer is yes I still use Smartype for DOS and I still transcribe in WP51 for DOS. So far I've been fortunate to find work where I can just duplicate their templates, then batch convert the files. Fortunately, since many now save...

Man...I haven't seen this group in YEARS!!! Used to be a regular WAYYY back...and I recognize a lot of names that are still here. Nice!! I have a ??...re Express Scribe. My SO's computer had to be restored to original settings, and he had to DL new everything. We use Express Scribe. Well...apparently the NEW version does not play some of the files...

I loved Agent. I hate Google Groups. My ISP now has some kind of deal with Google and I have to read my mail at gmail and use Google Groups to read newsgroups. Is there a program, similar to Agent, that allows you to access Google Groups to read and post? If not, is there any way to configure GG to work like Agent? (I doubt it, but it's worth asking.) By...
