If you've ever had a temporary filling instead of a real one, how long did it last? I needed some root canal work in a molar but I didn't have the time or money so I got a temp. filling. It is white and not silver like my real fillings.

I've been denied coverage as orthognathic surgery doesn't seem to be covered by the plan I have with my HMO. Does anyone know any company that finances these kind of procedures?
