I read of some new technique that some people are using of swishing their teeth with some kind of vegetable oil every day for 15-20 minutes. They say it improves their gums. Is periodontal disease a disease of low levels of bone precursors circulating in the body rather than the composition of dental plaque?? What does that mean? (1)The cat literature finds there is no correlation between composition of bacteria plaque in cats and gingivitis. (2) Cats and dogs get periodontal disease at maybe 3 or 4 years of age....

I have been seeing a dentist for over a yr. and we just discovered a tooth so decayed it really is beyond a r.c. and crown. How could he not read my x-rays of a yr. ago.
