Hi, At age 48, I'm a first-time eyeglass wearer. I've managed without glasses for so long because I'm near-sighted in my left eye, and far-sighted in my right, and I tend to be monocular because of my nystagmus. However, there has been a noticeable medium-distance zone where I don't see clearly in either eye, so my ophthalmologist suggested that...

When using Xalatin, the directions say that one should not "double drop". That this tends to minimize the effectiveness of the medication. Really don't understand this. If one puts in too much, the overflow goes down the nasal duct. And it is the percent solution that stays in the eye along with the initial tear volume that determines how much medication...

yes, you can get out of a wheel-chair. Move the wheel-chair backwards as prescribed by Dr S N Bhavasar. This I have heard in Jehangir Hospital, Pune 6 years ago ------------- to cure a dog of arthritis move him in the car as per fat or thin ---------- this for Gorgy the dog 6 years ago. And a pediatric eye surgeon may evaluate Dr S N Bhavasar's exercises and...

[...Far away in Africa the magician remembered Aladdin, and by his magic arts discovered that Aladdin, instead of perishing miserably in the cave, had escaped, and had married a princess, with whom he was living in great honour and wealth. He knew that the poor tailor's son could only have accomplished this by means of the lamp, and travelled night and...

There are people who believe you can prevent entry into a negative refractive STATE for the natural eye -- and then there are those who believe that even PREVENTION IS IMPOSSIBLE. Here is a pilot who cleared his vision back to normal. * eyezercise . com /Store/ Perhaps Zetsu will accomplish the same thing. Enjoy,

Since water can bend light, would it be possible to create a lens using separated layers of water to replace standard eyeglasses?

When I was young I remember sometimes I could go under the water and open my eyes and be able to see things around me without any discomfort. Unfortunately I rarely go swimming anymore and I never take baths (only shower) so I didn't get a chance to test this out again. Is this the same for everyone? And if so, why do people wear goggles when they go...

I am having unstable IOP. In addition, the preservative BAK in my eye drops appear to be giving me trouble. I finally decided that surgery, trabeculectomy is the way to go. My left eye suffers severe reduction of central vision because of a central retinal vein occlusion. The trabeculectomy is to be done on my "good" rightey to preserve its central vision....

I want to tell everyone what a huge difference full spectrum lighting can make. I bought one from Ebay recently and ever since my room has been filled with a wonderful white glow. It's economically and ecologically friendly as well, taking only 30 watts to produce as much light as a 150W incandescent bulb would. And it lasts 8000 hours compared to the normal...

[...Facts Versus Theories Reading fine print is commonly supposed to be an extremely dangerous practice, and reading print of any kind upon a moving vehicle is thought to be even worse. Looking away to the distance, however; and not seeing anything in particular is believed to be very beneficial to the eyes. In the light of these superstitions the facts...

I was tired today and took a good afternoon nap. Consequently I could read clearly the text on my TV screen, which normally I have to lean forward in order to see. It's not the first time I have noticed the connection between my vision and the amount of sleep I get. Is this a known phnomenon? My feeling is that it's related to the eye muscle which function...
