I have had bifocals for about 10 yrs now and picked up a pair of progressive lenses this morning. My vision is 20/20, but the doctor thought plus 1.5 would be benefitial for looking at a computer screen and reading. I am having a very hard time understand why there is such a small vertical area of the lenses I can actually see clearly out of. I went back...

Hello, I know many people who benefited from the Bates method. Out of curiosity, has anyone improved their eyesight to perfect? i.e. started with 20/50 or worse and improved it to better than 20/20? Please briefly share your experience, PA

I just had cataract surgery in my left eye last week, and an intraocular lens was placed by the ophthalmologist. I'm having the right eye done in a few days. My vision in my left eye, with the implanted lens, is excellent. I haven't had it checked yet but I'm guessing it's 20/15. Prior to the surgery, it was about 20/200. My question: I believe...

In the other thread I started, one of the Bates aficionados said that I need to have an "open mind". I fully agree. I think it's a very important thing, which is why I always try to maintain an open mind. But not so open that my brain falls out. :-)
