Need info about Camino Salcantay - Anyone Hiked it?
Greetings fellow travellers. I'm trying to plan a 10 day trip to Peru
this coming May in the hopes of hiking the camino salcantay and
hitting up Manchu Piccu.
What I'm trying to find out ASAP is first of all, has anyone out there
done the hike?? What where your opinions of it and how long did it
take??
More importantly, I see that there are many tour operators that will
guide you through the Camino, however, I'm wondering if its possible
to make the walk without a guide or if everyone must go with a
licensed group. If anyone has info on this it would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks so much.
