Murals in Mexico City

Are there any suggestions for seeing murals in Mexico City. The last
time I was there I saw the Rivera murals in the Palacio Nacional. Any
other suggestions would be welcome. Transit directions to get to them
would also help a great deal.

Don't miss Teatro de los Insurgentes, a theater where the facade is a mural
by Rivera. It's very impressive. We saw it from a bus and got off at the
next stop to get a better look. I just looked it up, and its at Avenida
Insurgentes Sur 1587. The mural is vast, and depicts actors and actresses
portraying the history of theater in Mexico.

Hi Jerry

Last time I was in Mexico city (9 years ago) I went to a museum dedicated to
my favorite mural , "Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Park". It had
the mural itself, as well as a great exhibit about its making. See:

Very close to the Alameda park, on Calle Colon, on the opposite side of the
park from the Belles Artes. Please check that this is all current before
going.

Enjoy!
