I am the author of several Moon Handbooks to southernmost South
America: Argentina, Chile (including Easter Island), Buenos Aires
(with excursions including coastal Uruguay), and Patagonia
(southernmost Argentina and Chile, including the Falkland/Malvinas
Islands). In November, as I was traveling through Patagonia, I began a
